Chief and I headed to Melvern in am. Last time out three days ago tried river channel no luck at all. Going to try more shallow bite this time. Might be good might not but just got to try.

find the shad and you will find thefish. Finally gotto go sunday for the first time in 5 weeks, fished state lake for 3 1/2 hours with a buddy and cleaned 45. On shad in 40 foot of water from the bottom to 21 foot deep. All caught on jigs with nibbles vertical jigging. good luck tomorrow, I'm jealous.

Maybe look in shallow channels? Just a thought.

Got diverted to the dock by a report that limits were being caught in two hours. So hit there at 0630 two guys already there talk to them and they both caught limits Yesterday. So oboy gonna kill them. Fished until 1000 I caught one fish saw about 10 total caught 6 guys fishing. What a let down.

Watched a guy pull in a big crappie as I crossed the causeway at CCL.
