"hard Times At Clinton"

Today was the worst day i've had in the past month off the marina docks at clinton. No keepers just 4 small fish. Things have been gettting progressively worse the past two weeks, the water just is'nt cold enough to get the fish to hold tight to structure. My friend and I fished out on the lake yesterday and only caught 9 keepers between us. The fish seem to hit when you find a couple, we just cant seem to find the large schools in or near the channels. I wonder if they might be in shallower water in the timber with these warmer water temps. Oh well i'll try again tommorow.. ERIC

kscrappiehunter- I was catching fish last saturday and sunday in 12 to 14 feet of water 8 to 11 feet deep and tuesday they had moved and caught the majority in 6 feet of water 4 feet down. The water temp. was 3 to 4 degrees warmer in the shallow water on tuesday so you might want to try shallow.
