Default Where to go for Spring Break

    Hi folks,
I know this question could generate a million responses, but here goes..
Sons spring break is March 21-28. He wants to go find even more snow, I want to head South for a little warmer weather (we are in NW Indiana). Have crappie fished Dale Hollow before (Byrdstown) in April and done well, but fear it may be a little early for there. Have a 21" Lund Pro-V (we amateur tourney fish for walleye). Can slip bobber, and cast small jigs..but not rigged for much else. Funds probably not available for guides.
Looking for some ideas. Tenn, Ark, Georgia, Kentucky ????
Any lakes that could be good and progressed far enough this spring that would be worth the travel.
Thanks for any and all ideas !!!

Guntersville will be getting hot about that time. There is a report on the Alabama side telling how he caught them & on what jig. This is a great site!!!!

How bout Lake Talquin lodge? Should be on fire bout then. Be plenty of CDC folks to follow around, specially Litewirehooker(Curtis). Georgia and Florida boards both have many that fish there.

Weiss Lake, Guntersville, and Enid look like good short list to pick from. All seem to be about same distance fro top of Indiana...all far enough South for good Late March conditions.
Talquin looks really neat but another 300 miles for me.
Week is March 21-28th, boat is 20' Lund walleye boat, geared for only casting jigs and slip bobbers.
    Also on budget.
Don't want to start argument of which is best...but I do need to somehow pick a place/accommodations from these.
    help !!
