Where should I go next week on a trip?

We are supposed to go to Ky Lake next week to fish but since the lake is still froze pretty good I'm starting to think Ky Lake will have to wait for the next trip. Been thinking about possibly going to Northern Alabama or Mississippi but don't know where to go. Anybody have any places I should go to? Figured the fish will be starting to move shallow down there but like I said, I don't have any thoughts of where to go. Don't have to be them two states but never been out of state fishing other than fishing a couple times with my uncle in Missouri

Try checkin out some of the state local discussions and see what the guys are sayin in bama and Mississippi. I was thinkin northern bama got decent snow coverage also but I can't say for sure. But those guys can prolly help ya out. See where the fish are bitin. Good luck.

With the weather like it has been, and looks to be for the near future, I would go further south. Florida has been doing well lately, check the FL board and see for yourself. For my money it would be worth the extra drive time. Somewhere in the area where 40 goes east/west across the state would be far enough. Maybe Talquin would do well but I can't say. More ice coming wed/thurs here, be careful traveling.

Water timps are in the 40s here in northern Alabama. We had snow last week. I would wait about 2 weeks but that's up to you.

Wish I had a choice but I have to go on dad's vacation. I looked at the forecast for the week after next and it looks like ky lake would be awesome by then but can't go but just next week.
