I made my own shallow water anchors. Fairly cheap (less than 100 bucks in two 10' anchors) and not too hard to do

I have a micro powerpole on my 17 foot bass tracker. I bought it for my kayak but use it on both. Cost around 600.00 and it comes in real handy when fishing docks.

Grainger sells 3/4"X10' fiberglass rods. Epoxy a pvc T on the end and go fishing.

Pretty much exactly what huntinslabs said. I ordered fiberglass rods from a website that had free shipping and the ordered t handles and tips from another company. the company that sells the t handle and tips also sells rods but shipping is between 22 and 58 depending on your location due to they ship FedEx and it is oversized. If you google "shallow water anchor parts" you will find the company for tips and handles. I ordered my rods from a site called zoro.com. as far as mounts I have a pontoon so it was easy I just screwed a plate to the front edge by where my trolling motor mounts with a 4" piece of 1" pvc u-bolted to it. Did the same for the back beside the motor pod. There are sites that sell mounts but they are expensive. You could make your own to fit your boat alot cheaper.
