    Fine looking fillets. My wife put her order in last nite so I'm gonna give 'em a try tonight if the weather clears out. Nothing like a fresh mess of crappie fillets!:p

    I see you leave the skin on. I usually fillet the skin off. Do they taste better with the skin attached? What do you do, scale them first - then fillet them?

    thats right, scale them,gut em, then fillet them. I leave the skin on, it taste fine to me, of course, when you have crappie blood running through your veins, it dosnt taste fishy to ya!!!!!!
