Another 8-9 days of this and then it looks better. I hope to get out soon. I think you could almost walk across the MO river right now on all of the ice chunks the size of Rhode Island floating down.

At least trout season opens back up Sunday. I'd rather be fishing for crappie or bass, but I'll take whatever I can get at this point. Cabin fever sucks and I'm tired of cutting, splitting and keeping my wood stove fed! I'm cheap and hate burning the propane more though so I'll just keep on keeping on while it's still cold.
