Greetings from Cape Cod - We have some fine crappie fishing here on Cape Cod - I really enjoy getting out there and getting them on the fly. Here's a picture of a nice fish taken this summer. I look forward to enjoying this forum. All the best, Alec

Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Nice speck! Welcome from Northern Michigan.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D
Thanks for the warm welcome guys - that fish above I I took in about 12 feet of water with a fast-sinking fly line. I was targeting 'gills when I caught it. Here's a pretty fish that I caught in the shallows when targeting crappie (or calico, as we sometimes call 'em around here). The fly pictured is my favorite pattern - very effective - I do love catching 'em! Looking forward to spring and getting out there! Tight lines, Alec
great looking fish, keep us updated...and welcome.
