Default 5 port Ethernet hub 2 units and ipilot link?

    5 port Ethernet 2 units and I link ?

Ok so I have a 1199 up on front deck. I have a 999 I'm putting at the console. The i link for the Terrova is already connected to the 1199. I have the 5 port Ethernet hub , I have 2 Ethernet cables and 2 pigtail adaptor cables. The question is Do I need another ethernet cable for the link to run back to the ethernet hub ? I'm sure I do but wanted to hear from you guys that already have a similar set up . Thanks in advance. Brian from BBG is on vacation or I would have just called him .
i posted this under electronics go no answers ?

I have the Link, 958 and a 1198 connected to the hub. Works like a charm.

    Gobob,
I hope that is correct. I am in the process of wiring mine up this way.

Did I miss your question in the Electronics forums ...??

These guys are correct ... Ethernet only allows 2 devices ... You have 3 ...

So all 3 devices (2 head units and iLink) have to go to the 5 port Ethernet switch ...

And the xx9 series units must have the AS EC QDE adapter cable (which you said you already have for both of your xx9 series units) ...
