Mr. Crappie "LIVE"

I got a chance to see Wally Marshall do a live seninar on bait presentation this weekend at the Bassmaster Classic Expo in Greenville, SC. Although it was a expo geard toward Bass fishing I was pleased to see many crappie venders present offering products and advise to all interested. After Wally's seminar I waited by Wally to get a autograph for my twelve year old son. As I waited in the crowd, there was a older couple that appeared to be new to crappie fishing. I watched and listened to Wally explain to the couple what crappie fishing was and how anyone could get started with the right equipment. Wally was very patient and answered several questions from the couple. It was clear that after their time with Wally they were excited and eager to get out there and try thier luck. We are very fortunate to have a man like Wally to represent our passion and present it to others that may be interested. Wally was a true gentleman and a great ambassador for crappie fishing. Thank you Wally for the tips, autograph and picture!!!!

Just kidding. Very Cool! I have to wonder who was more excited. You getting the autograph or your 12 year old receiving the autograph from you. LOL Looks like you had fun and Wally looks cheerful as always! Great post and thanks for sharing!!

Great experience. Wish he, as well as some other celebs in our sport, would come to our Sportsman's Show here in MA at the Eastern States Expo grounds. Then I'd pay the outrageous parking and entrance fees.
