just don't look at forecast for next week if you think it's bad right now!
Here I sit at my man cave work table with lures and tackle boxes scattered all over the place. Its a whopping 4 degrees without wind chill. The wood burning Earth Stove sure does get heat to the ol bones. Both my dogs are curled next to me.
Still 10" + of ice. About one month to go before soft water and the To Do List is still long.
Download all waypoints from last year, research them and figure out what new spots I want to try this year.
Do some boat repairs and repack my bearings.
Plan my fishing campouts, and/or make camping reservations.
Research other fishing holes via Google Earth.
Build a transducer bow mount. Figure out how to mount my PiranhaMAX220 to a ram mount, and install both to the boat.
Time for another beer and to throw another log on the fire.
Are you ready for soft water?

Yep, home made beer on tap. Home made root beer on the left for mixed drinks, and an Octoberfest on the right.
Nice man cave. Spacious and functional.

NICE...think I would move the tackle operation closer to the wood stove!
It was -6 here last night and suppose to be colder tonight! I don't remember the last winter we had with this much cold & snow. I remember years past when we were fishing the first week of March. Don't think that's going to be in the cards this year. Hopefully by mid to late March the water will soften.
