trout magnet bobbers

Any of u guys use the trout magnet bobbers/floats. I used them before trout fishing but was going to add some to my crappie box. I was wondering how they work rigged as slip floats. They would be alot cheaper to loose than thills esp when I got the kids with me.

I've used the trout magnet size "pegged" on the line using 1/32 and 1/16. They work with a 1/16 but not much float is showing above the water line.

I've also used them pegged with gnats/minnows and splitshot. I think the guy that hosts the MidWest Crappie videos uses them too, thats the first place I saw anyone use them for crappie and the reason I picked some up.

Crappie magnet floats works great.Trout magnet.com has some good videos on their web site. Easy on easy off with out cutting line. when if you get your jig hung up can take the float off to get your jig. Put it right back on. No retying.

Chuck and debs is your very best friend for that type of float. You can get them in different sizes. They work fine as a slip float and are my favorite.

Trout Magnet has several floats to choose from. They have 2 sizes of crappie floats and they have the Trout Magnet float, and a larger version that is called PanFish float.
