Default I need opinions on GPS/Fish finders

I'm getting ready to purchase a new GPS/Fish finder and have narrowed my choices to either a Lowrance 332c or a Humminbird 787c2. I would appreciate any in put about either. Thanks, Speck

Thumbs up I Like My Humminbird

I have a Humminbird Matrix 87c with GPS & I love it. If you get on a top & give the GPS time to settle down it is right on the money! :D

I would go with the 332c. It is much easier to operate than the humminbird. I think that most all gps units now will get you on the spot. It's just a matter of how user friendly the unit is to operate.
Good luck. I am sure that either unit will give you good service.

Save a few more pennies and get a humminbird 797c2SI. I have a 987cSI and the addition of the sidefinder feature is more than worth the extra money. There are several members here who have these, just ask around. If you want I can even post or send you some pictures I have saved on mine. If it's an either or of the two units you mentioned I would lean toward the 332c for ease of use.

    Good luck on your decision,

    Chris

Bluegillin, I am saving right now for a sideimage unit. Would you send me some pics you have. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

    Thanks,

    Dayton
