    Short answer... Yes!

Fish will be at different levels during all of these times of course, but can be had rigging.

Pre spawn fish the travel corridors leading to likely shallow spawning areas(creek mouths, deeper flats) keying on subtle contour changes or structure available in the area.

Spawn, will usually rig stump fields in shallower (4-8FOW) areas. While people are beating the banks catching fish, seems larger fish are to be had spawning deeper imho.

Post spawn I usually like to speed up and power troll or longline jigs. Power trolling I move back to main lake points and flats around the channel. Power trolling allows to cover more water to find the scattered fish. I like at least 1 oz of weight and a roadrunner.

May be a little more than you were asking for!

How deep of water you fishing with 1 oz weight and how fast? Guess your trying to keep line short and close to boat for turning with that much weight?

I see most guys doing 1/16 that'd be good in 8-12fow in spawn where I live. Per spawn is 18-25fow on pickwick it takes two 1/4 oz jigs to get down there at .08

I fish from 8-20 feet deep depending on which lake. Pickwick is a pretty deep lake. I have 1oz lead sinker on the bottom, with two roadrunners about 24-36" apart. running from .6-1.2 mph
