Default Can someone ID these white balls?

They are in my worm farm. Seems to be in area where a worm died. Looking for advice as I dont want to ruin my bed. Going on 2 months now. Dont see a lot of progress but they are eating all the food each week. Thanks in advance.

I hope not. No flies in the room I keep them in. I scooped them out last night.

Mine has the same things. Older man told me to flush them out with water. Some kind of bugs that was not good for the worms.. I found that sprinkling cornmeal on top of my beds. Then cover that with news paper. Then wet that down, the worms grow fast and will clean all the food up by the next day. Went from 36 worms last summer. To now working on three beds and have more worms than I can fish with. But hope the grand kids help me thin them out son.

How often do you do the cornmeal/paper process? Daily, weekly?? Tried one without much success, wanting to try again.

Back when I was raising worms (European nightcrawlers) I used Purina worm chow. Yes there is such a thing. The feed store ordered it for me. I also added ground calcium carbonate as a grit. I only fed them enough to eat in one day, otherwise got moldy. Did this every two or three days. I had a bad problem with some kind of wasp larvae which I never could control.

The wasp that you mentioned Tracker 123 is not a danger to you, just annoying. The larvae are a pain in the dingus but bluegill will eat them. .02
