    Default Smithville Sunday

Beautiful day on the lake.. Couldnt ask for a better winter weather as far as I am concerned. The fish didnt necessarily agree though. Spent about 4 hours on the lake and had 3 decent keepers and 1 short. I found a school so big the looked like a 20 foot long brushpile but they just werent biting. I was using jigs between 15-20 ft over 30 feet black and chart.

Fished early Sunday around the docks and wound up limit but was very slow at end. Caught on jigs, red/chart, blue/white, black/white. Smaller jigs had better bites.

I assume you took Larimer with you. How does he do in the boat.

Nice! Got the outboard put back together and started yesterday, and started tearing down the boat to rebuild that. Hoping by mid March she will be seaworthy and ready to start hitting the crappie waters!

    Default hes great

Yes I definitely had Larimer with me. He was a pleasure to have on the boat. At first he was kind of anxious. He wouldn't settle down. I think he was wondering why the "CAR" was surrounded by water.lol I tried to attach pics but am not sure why they aren't showing up.
