Anyone ever tried grilling fillets with the scales on them? This really makes grilling crappie easy and it really eats good too. When you fillet them dont flop it over and fillet the meat out of the scales, just go right on off the tail. wash and grill with the scales down. never turn the fish. spray or baste with butter and sprinkle with favorite seasoning let cook till the meat puffs up and turns white. Eat like eating a baked potatoe.
