    Default Spring vacation crappie trip

I'm looking for suggestions on a fun place to go for our annual spring crappie trip. Dates are March 27- April 3. Me and 2 high school buddies try to go every spring to crappie fish and have a good time. Looking for a lake within 10 hour drive from Indianapolis, IN. 7-8 day trip. Must have motel or cabins close by. I have a 21ft Ranger boat decked out to catch crappie anyway we have to. It will probably still be cold up here so prefer south of Indy that time of year. If anyone has had a great trip somewhere around that time of year please share the info as I would do the same. Thank you.

The fishing will be good here in Alabama That time of year I'll be at west point some of those days myself but there are a lot of good lakes here just ask for help on Alabama forum if that were you go.

This Guber owned a Skeeter for several years but now I run a Ranger. Alot bigger and smoother riding boat. Love it.

Lake Dardanelle in Russellville Ar. Crappie fishing is UNBELIEVEABLE there that time of year! 9.75 hrs. from Indy.

2x on Dardanelle. The four fish in my signature came from Dardanelle about that time a couple years back.
