    Default South Bend crappie rod

Got laid over at a Wal Mart in Montecello, KY this past week and of course had to go through the sporting goods dept. First thing I always do is look up. I saw some long rods that weren't familiar and had to check em out. They were South Bend Crappie Stalker and I was surprised. They were light, enough guides, EVA handles, and most of all they had some backbone. They weren't whippy starting at the handle like so many less expensive rods are. I handled the 12; model and were I starting to gather a set of those for spider rigging and pulling cranks like I do I wouldn't hesitate to put these in the buggy. At $25 each they were a good deal on what seems to be a good rod. Just some input for those looking for some rods to add to the arsenal.

Sounds like a good buy. I will have to check them out.
