    Default No prop,No spare

went to the boat show last week in Cincinnati and was looken at mainly aluminum bass boats in the 20 grand range, when I noticed the motor had no prop on it, I asked salesman wheres the prop? He smiled and said it doesn't come with one! I was like does it come with a spare tire and rim? nope he said that's extra too! Something to think about.

Companies have been making things smaller for years to cut corners and boost profits. We would notice a smaller boat so they take a different approach.

Well the salesman was right. "In a way." I believe motors larger than 30HP come from the factory without a prop and that makes sense since they do not know what boat the motor is going to be put on. However I've never seen a rig for sale at a dealer where the dealer didn't put the proper prop on the motor. Spare tires and rims are dealer options too.

think the spare tire for a boat trailer not being included is odd,,,,, you better look in the trunk of a new car before you make a deal and leave the dealer.mother in law had a blowout in a new impala last year, plug kit and pump all that was in there. wife was purchasing a new Cherokee this November, I told salesman unless they threw in a fullsize spare- no deal !! we have a new Cherokee with a full size spare !!
