    Default Humminbird smartcast repair

Has anyone tried loading a new battery in the RF45 sonar unit? I have looked at the UK posting several times; sawed one of mine in half and still have no idea how to replace the battery. These were great units for us bank fisherman. I am suspicious of buying one of the few still available as I am sure the batteries have seen better days.

Anyone with experience or ideas, let me know. Its gonna warm up one of these days

The RF45 is "pitch and replace"...

Note: ...Keep the xducer dry ... It is water activated ... And tossing it in a damp tackle box will run the battery down ...
