    Default crappie magnets vs trout magnets.


    What's the difference? Can only find trout magnetc around me.

    Crappie magnets are bigger, designed for crappie instead of trout and bluegill.

    Also, the body sizes should be used with their corresponding jigs as they are quite different in size. Crappie magnets use a larger jig. I'll sometimes use a crappie magnet body on a #4 sickle hook jig (1/32 or 1/16). You can adjust the length of the body by cutting off a small bit if needed. The trick with both for best results is to have the hook exit right between the split in the tail. BTW, I always have done better using the trout magnet size but i use their jigs. Pink/white, orange/chartreuse, and the translucent brown are usually my go to colors and the gold jig seems to produce better in stained or greenish water.
