    Default fishing reports. there few

And far between, I figured some of y'all would have been fishing these last few nice days, not many if any reports, I remember when y'all would give a report, how it was done, when it was done, who was there, how deep, what style, Oh well Just cause I can't go like I use to is no reason to pry into y'alls secrets,,,, Kit and I are headed to Table Rock this PM maybe I can give a report,,,, been a long time since I have gone, only 3 times this winter,,, bummer.

Went Friday to Stockton, took friend of mine from Aurora and my buddy. Caught 45 K's and bunch of shorts, all in shad wads using Chartruese jigs with nibbles and spoons. Fish were from 35 to 45 foot deep on or near the bottom. Good bite, nice fish, no pictures. Gave all the fish to my friend and didn't take the photo op. So Beag hows that for a report. Oh and also, you had to look for the shad balls primarily along bluffy banks and in and around the drops of channels.

Thanks Beagle. Was thinking the same thing. I had my short week last week and found lots of hard water. Work 4 tens this week but plan to hit it starting Friday.

Rough day fighting the wind here on Truman yesterday. Fish could be caught in and around brush piles but wind made it tough to stay on top of them. Powder poles would not work well in 45' of water.

Ran south yesterday to Springfield, buddy and I had a table in a gun show. Truman was frozen over every time we crossed it. This warm spell may change that. Hope so.
Spring can't get here soon enough.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
