    Default Coffey 1/16

Went to Coffey on Friday with my brother in law. We were mainly chasing bass but I'm always at the ready when we stumble across some active crappie. As I was dragging my plastic beaver bait along I had several quick and fairly hard taps. That's almost always crappie or whites so I tossed a 3" power minnow back and got an immediate thump when I lifted my bait off the bottom and I swing in a big, fat crappie, 11 more just like it followed. I didn't measure exact size, but a Plano 3700 box is 14" long and just over 9" tall. All released to bite again.
