I used my wife's label maker and just put my conservation # on my rods.
Same here- I tried without a tape covering and they only lasted a trip or two.
If using more than three rods at once, you have to have ID or conservation # on rods. It seems silly, but it is having to do with trot lines having more than 33 hooks or the like and Conservation agents knowing who owns the lines.
you southern non fish catching gubers yes it is a Mo. the great state of Missouri thang..... reason is our big fish sometimes swallow our rod and reel and this way when we filet them we can return the rod to the rightful owner..... trudat
