    Default ice fishing

I got a question about ice fishing. Has anyone tried an underwater light to attract fish when ice fishing. Was thinking about trying it. Drill a hole and put a light down about 2 foot off of the bottom then drilling holes in a circle around it in about a 3-4 foot circle. Can't hurt to try.

I like how you think. If it is near structure it should work. Light attracts plankton which attracts minnows which attract crappies. Sounds like a food chain to me.

I try thinking out of the box every now and then. The only place I ice fish is in ponds tho.

It works the same as open water. Only you carry the battery not the boat.
