Default Who fishes hair jigs/buck tails?

I'm going I get material to tie up some bucktails/hair jigs.
There are so many dang colors, so for you guys who tie or have fished them do you have any favorites? Trying to just get a nice combo of colors so im not buying too much stuff that don't produce. Thanks!

You gotta have chartreuse with white thrown in for good measure!

Blue - Green - Pink - White - Chartreuse .... alone & in varying combinations, have been the most productive colors I've used.

depending on water clarity, Chartreuse, FL Blue, White as well as if particularly stained water, Hot Orange is great and maybe Black and Chart together. Really Hot Pink or even Fuchsia .Most clear water I like Silver head and in Stained Chart, FL Yellow ,etc. etc.

You guys are talking hair colors right?

I know one thing I have read and that was to have a dark top and lighter bottom just like a real baitfish.
That's interesting about the blue. I definitely have to try that.
Also tying some up for walleye while I'm at it.
