    Default Solo Reel

I have a couple of solo reels and recently purchased another one. I changed my other ones to left handed and want to do the same to this one. However there are no instructions on how to do it. I understand some were made that couldn't be converted. I dont remember how I changed my other ones. But I don't think this one looks the same. Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks

Can you not just turn it around on the reel seat on the pole?

No, you have to convert it to left handed. Thanks

I emailed Lew's this morning about this matter. I got a phone call within 30 minutes and after a brief conversation, they are sending me a new spool. Apparently the one I had was a model that is not easily swapped from right to left. Great customer service.!!

You just use a little dentist pick and pull the bearing out an turn over.
