    Default Humminbird 900 series

I see that the 900 series is being discontinued. YIKES to those that have them. Anybody tried out the new 797C?

I am curious to where you saw that the 900's are being discontinued? I cant see them do that since that is the flag ship of there product line.

The 797 will not be out till mid to late January according to the dealers. I am dying for them to get this unit on the market so I can purchase one. I did see that bass pro has them but show them back ordered.

Not being discontinued. It is being updated to a 997. Additional frequency, updates and an even larger screen 8" vs 7".

Jeff I have been told 999.99 for the 797, I have found them through these guys www.jollyannsales.com for 949.99, with no shipping or tax. They dont have them in stock yet but should late january. They are not listed on the site yet either, but talked to Wade and that was the price I was quoted.

Jeff it shows to be the same price as mine. But the way they talk the side imaging is 10X better and can record videos of what your seeing. And also zoom in on something. That part we will get to upgrade to.
Also better view in bright sunlight.

I may have to upgrade if something happens to mine.
