Cappy we had a very good crop last year even though the late freeze brought temps here to 22 degrees. I think the cold is more harmful when the trees are in the flower stage. I don't think the fruit is as susceptible to the cold. I have a young McBeth loquat that has bloomed for the first time this year. It's in a five gallon pot in my greenhouse. where right now with the temperature at 27 degrees the greenhouse temp is 35 degrees. My little heater is working it's butt off.
