View Full Version : Rod transport on dual console

01-02-2015, 11:46 PM
I am reconditioning a 20' dual console javelin bass boat. How are those of you with dual consoles stowing spider rig rods for transport from spot to spot and trailering? Old boat was single console and not an issue. Thanks for input, advice and opinions.CF

184372Scott at Hitec stuff made these for me. he's on the board here. Hauled 14' rods from Louisville to Ky lake and back with no problem.

It wouldnt be hard to build build a set and incorporate an offset to the outboard side if more room is needed

I think Cumberland sells a rail mounted offset holder for either 8 or 16 poles

Boa3, The website below has the phone numbers, but not many pictures. I do know they can be found on Facebook. They are also sold at Grizzly Jig. They are designed by a local crappie angler.

I had Driftmaster customize me one of theirs. Just give them the measurements.

Bought the rod saver at grizzly over the break. Only have used it a few times but really like it so far. Easy to install and keeps rods from getting tangled.
