    Default For those who switched from Terrova i pilot to Xi5, which do you like better.


    For those who switched from their Terrova I pilot to the new Xi5 do you think it was worth it, or would you have rather kept the i pilot. I just bought a different boat and have an xi5 but it's too small, I think I'll buy another bigger one, I was just wondering how everyone's experience went with the new Motorguide compared to their old i pilot. I fish brush tops here in IL so I went with Xi5 and it did pretty good on anchor and was fairly easy to use but I wish they had a digital readout on the remote. Overall I am very happy with it, but I just bought a 1990 Ranger 374 and my 55# Xi5 probably would be a waste of time to mount on. So I need to choose motors again.

    I switched from the Terrova to the Xi5 and haven't had it long enough to really tell but so far I like the Xi5 better.
