I had a pair of swans come into my snow goose decoy spread a couple of years ago and flew over our heads TWICE no more than 10 feet above us. I was screaming my lungs out "DON"T SHOOOOOOOTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" and luckily my hunters didn't. One of them was wearing a yellow neck collar that had to be a foot long. Very majestic birds, especially that close. I did manage to get a cell phone pic of them on their 2nd pass.
