Default More from the past, 1973 Sure-Set bobber

Found this in an antique store a few months back. Neat little fishing novelty from years gone by. The last photo is one I found on the net. Pretty clever a bobber that sets the hook for you.

I have found that this is a killer set up when using it with a 'Banjo Minnow"

I have not used it. I guess one day I will take it to the lake and try it out. I had never seen one before.

I don't recall the bobber but the Banjo Minner had a long tv run.

I've found and sold at least two of those bobbers on e-Bay. Pretty cool if you collect them. I think most folks tried them once, then put them in the box and on a shelf, as neither of the two I found looked like they'd been used. That spring will really POP!

I believe with the right size hook and sharp it could work. I have a shelf with some old reels and such that I put it on.
