Default BPS microlite UL or L

Am thinking of a new 7' rod for casting jigs and currently looking at the Bass Pro Shops microlite. The UL seemed a little soft and was thinking about the L but wanted to see if anyone had a little insight into how they did on the water vs in a store.

I have a few Medium Lights and really like them for casting jigs.

UL is too flimsy for casting. I prefer L.

That's what I was kind of thinking. I may need to check out the ML now too.

I have a few 7 ft 6 inch light action, they a little light for slabs. I would try the medium light. Especially, if you try to swing fish without netting.

Also stick with the 7 foot or less models too.

I'll be honest, I like how the 7' Light action casts, but the sensitivity is horrible, IMO. You would be better off with a BnM Sams SS 7' or Gander Mountain Guide Series 7' light.
