That smile is what it is all about. Nice job!
Planned to get somewhat early start around 7-730. Woke up late around 7 walked outside and went back to bed. Fog was too risky to take a 9yr old in. Woke up again around 830, went got minners, fuel, and ice. Around 9 leave the house hoping fog will continue lifting.
Sole purpose of trip, get daughter a good fish on her new rod built by my dad with a brand new reel.
Started in old channel around 2people who can't drive since I'm having carb issues, i got a 4" micro who got released. Finished by opp, with the water lice in full force. Rest of story, only fish kept, but mission accomplished and a great day!
Fog didnt really lift until around 11-11:15 on the north side.
Back at the house by Noon. (Actual fishing time MIGHT total 1-1.5 hours)
All minnows ended up realeased except for 3 for my turtles.

Great pic
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
Oh and save that pic to your desktop so you know where it is. Slab has a photo contest each year for his calendar. That will be a winner fer sure!
