What kind of motor? Could be a bad connection on the battery.
Need a good reputable mechanic.
Brought the boat out of the garage yesterday and it wouldn't start so I took it to the station and filled it up... Came back and the engine won't turnover at all
Battery is good
Starter Relay is good
Turn the key and the relay clicks, but nothing else, starter engages manually.
Pm me or post it here or text me @ 336/4/7/3/1/2/5/7
Thanks...
What kind of motor? Could be a bad connection on the battery.
It's a 50 hp Mercury 2 stroke
The battery and connections are very clean, I keep the boat in the garage. Engine was turning over perfectly one minute then nothing at all except the relay click.. Bypassed to check starter and starter engages fine and turns over fast that way.
Kinda looking for a place to drop it off at that won't take me to the cleaners.
Thanks
Sounds like a bad solenoid. Just because it clicks does not always mean it is good. The contact disc inside of it may be burned and not making contact to start your motor. Also check for loose or corroded battery cables to the solenoid both Positive and Negative.

Try Cooper Marine in Lexington. He's beside the High Rock Campground.
can you turn the motor by hand? Try pulling the plugs out and spinning it with a rope. Then you'll know if it's locked up
believe it or not I almost got stuck out in Lake last Sunday my starter solenoid either clicks or buzzes or does nothing so I just ordered one hopefully I'll fix it
I've used Cooper Marine also. They had the least wait time for me.
I had Coopers rebuild my blown 90 Johnson, great to work with
