    Default January 10th Douglas Lake Tournament


    Crappie Tournament on Douglas Lake
    January 10th 2014


    Location: Dandrige boat ramp.

    Registration: 6:30-7:00 am at Boat Ramp


    Blast Off: Fishing will begin at 7:30 a.m. Participants may leave the ramp at 7 am by trailer or by boat, but may not have lines in the water until 7:30 am.


    Weigh in: All fishing will stop at 3:30 pm and weigh in will begin at 4:00 pm (all participants must be in weigh in line by 4:30 pm). Participants may keep up to their limit, but only 7 biggest fish may be weighed.


    Methods: Live or Artificial bait may be used.


    Fees: $35.00 per boat for members, $50.00 per boat for non-member. Boat can consist of 1 or 2 adult fishermen.


    Payback: 90% payback. Pays 1 spot for every 5 boats entered. Also pot for BIG FISH which is included in tournament fees.

    The Dandridge ramp was supposed to be closed by TVA on Dec. 19 th for repairs. I passed there last week and their was a sign flashing the message about the closing. Don't know for how long. You might want to check with TVA.

    Thanks for Looking out for us. Some of our local members have checked on it and the ramp will be open. Are you planning to fish the tournament?

    Is the main bridge open? I heard some discussion that the main bridge there in town would be under repair as well.

    I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
