Randy wish you were closer. I would feed you some chicken, sausage and okra gumbo I cooked today. With a little buttered fresh bread. Of course I would have baked a pecan pie for you also. But since we couldn't eat together, I skipped the pie. JR there were no shrimp "wasted" in this one. Wife had already taken care of my shrimp envie on Monday with a wonderful etoufee. Get well Randy.

You can tell just by looking at it that that is a good gumbo! Just the right color. That is important for a gumbo to have just the right color. You got it going on there.

Randy, veggie soup is good on a cold day but when you're sick it takes chicken to make you well. Like the cow says "eat mo chicken" and you'll get well faster. Get well soon.
