Default 10 Dec 14 GEARY STATE

Started out in the morning on milford and found that they had moved off the areas I had last found them and wasn't having any luck figuring out where they went so moved out around noon to Geary and was able to get good numbers still there. Kept these guys and threw allot of extra smalls back. Threw a jerkbait in the creek channels and hooked into a few nice largemouth as well. Much needed day of fishing since it had been a week or so since last out.Name: 20141210_150440.jpg

Nice job and thanks for the report! I hope Geary doesn't get zebra mussels since you where at Milford. Or maybe it already has them

Geary hasn't been reported so far for having zebra mussels but have a feeling unfortunately that it will happen. I fish from a kayak most of the time and drain it between uses and when switching water. I keep a spray bottle of bleach and water mixture to spray down the exterior then dry off. I am hoping that is sufficient since most of the spread is due to trailers, bilge pumps, intakes and livewells.
