We don't generally find many fish under the few scattered piers on Reelfoot because of all the natural cover, but they sprayed a ton of lily pads this past year and displaced a lot black crappie, and they found new shade, and then I found them!

Right, I meant that this particular trip was the reason I learned to shoot docks, a full day of squatting down and shoving a 12 ft pole under a dock and setting the hook by yanking the line liked to killed my back! Not to mention trying to get the fish in. When I got home I called a buddy that shoots docks and got a few pointers, so the next weekend I was shooting that 1/80 oz. jig with a 7 ft Sam Heaton, now it's one of my favorite ways to fish!
