Crescent Lake rumors.....12/2/14

Florida Crappie Club will hold
its annual Florida Classic on Dec. 12th

Rumors are already flying in circles
of whats going on at Crescent on pre-fish
Early estimates say its going to take
over 16 lbs 8 oz to win it..

Last years record catch by George Parker
& Tim Eberly - 14 lbs. 12.02 oz on 7 fish
may be easily broken - as reported by
few pre-fish teams............
Rumor has it that one team took a 3 lb 4 oz on Sunday.

Another team Monday took a 7 fish wgt
of 15 lbs.11 oz. big fish of 2 lbs. 9.0 oz
and smallest 2lbs 0 oz

Two teams reported numbers of 12.5
& 12.9 taken yesterday.

Several teams are in the 11 - 13 lb
range already....

With finally tally still come in by this
Saturday - we have 39 teams qualifyed
with excess of $17,500 in cash- merchandise & awards guaranteed for
ALL CONSTANTS..............

All those involved with FCC this year should take a bow - You Mr & Ms
Fisherpeople have created this - and we are returning to you 100% of
what you have put into it.

All work done and for the FCC (your club) is 100% on volunitary basis - travel expenses, interviews, flyers, newspaper articles, visting bait shops / working with over 40 different sponsors, checking out motels - lake ramps - working with FWC involving lake survey work - etc.

Sorry to hear that Mike - didn't mean to call you Saturday morning - was just checking
to see if you were on way or had problems............

Missed a great show.................big time weights turned in...............

Took 15 lbs plus to make it to the top on 7 fish.

On all shows, we make sure who is comming and is not.

Also all shows we double check on who stayed and who left early - again its a double
3 yrs ago had a team flip their boat in East Toho, and at first did not miss them,

We almost lost 2 competitiors - real close to a private viewing of them..

Not Good...........

Year before that had a team's motor go south on them at Lake George, ahen trolling
ran out of juice and heavy wind was drifting across lake at fast pace wrong direction.


They were able to get to safety about 11 pm that night. Instead of 2:30
