    Default Ice fishing??


    We had ice two days ago and today I went out and fished open water. All the rain completely opened the impoundment here so I walked down to the bridge and gave it a shot. The water was high and moving fast but I was able to find some slack water behind a couple of pilings and managed to land a half dozen specks. Only 6 - 8 inchers but it beats working on your birthday.
    It is not about the equipment you have to use,
    It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

    shure has been cold lately but the fish don't seem to mind couple a dozen gills on sunday and a bout 15 nice crappie today dress warm and go fishing
