    Default Our simple Thanksgiving


    It was just the 2 of us. We had recently spent 7 weeks with family and decided to enjoy our holidays quietly together. Stead of a turkey I did a big fat hen, Peg made dressing and I did sweet tater pone, anyways this si what we came up with:


    This is all the fun we had doing it.

    Thanks for posting. I really enjoy your threads. I can tell there has been a lot of trial and error tweaking done to your dishes over the years. People who really enjoy good down home food are forever trying to improve them. Sometimes we finally figure out that we had it right the first time. Keep on keeping on.

    Thanks guys, stormcloud you are oh so right. We are true foodies and love experimenting and tweeking and trying, but we try to do so while staying true to our Cajun country heritage.
