I got to scratch the itch a little today. Going back tomorrow to finish the job spider rigging. We caught all but one of ours today 2 1/2-3 ft deep under a bobber in 8-12 ft of water. Fun day once we figure out how to catch them. They were moving around a lot along the channel edge chasing shad. I would idle around until I found them on the side imaging and stop and start casting the bobbers. I think rigging in the morning will be the ticket by covering more water.

Dang jared you did better than we did for sure. We will slime a bucket up soon. We could see a lot of fish just couldn't get them to bite. Straight lining, pitching casting all of it.

Was a different story today. Got out there and marked some fish schooled up under shad. Caught one pretty quick and then here came the cold front. Wind picked up and temp dropped 15 degrees in about 30 seconds. I have never seen the temp drop that fast before. We stuck it out for about a half hour even though we were way under dressed for it. Not another hit. Will try again soon. That's fishing.
