Thanks for the report and good to hear that the wife was out catching fish with you.
Got there around 3:00 pm and could only fish till 4:45. Was told the bite was slow. Took about 30 min to find they did not want it dead sticked. Found out if you cast to the outside of the dock and let it drift in along the side to the front of the slip started getting bites. They were about 20'-24' down. It was a light bite. Most times i would just watch the line and it would just stop drifting toward me so i set the hook. Sometimes i would, what i call walk the dog. drop the jig 20' than take 2 steps over and let the jig drift over than 2 steps and just walk the jig around the dock. I was using tri-color black, white, chartreuse. Its my winter go-to color. Caught about 20 kept 6. 2 fat 11" and some 9's. My wife caught the 2 11's. great day and met some nice guys.
