    Default Personal goal getting closer

After a frustrating late summer of crappie fishing I made a vow. I was going to give it two years of learning all I could about catching crappie and being successful regardless of conditions. Even more it was all going to be accomplished fishing with jigs that I make. I discusses this with fishing friends of mine and even said I was going to fish until the week of Thanksgiving just to keep fishing. I have been doing a lot of research and a lot of on the water learning. Going as far as dramatically reducing my duck season just to fish. October turned out to be fantastic in numbers and average size. The last week or so has been even better. We fished with great success today. Still a lot to learn but the goal is getting close

You done good. When I first started turkey hunting each year I thought I had it figured out. Ten years later I was right. Twenty years later it got easy. Just stay the course and it will happen.

Good looking jigs and the right attitude, you'll do fine. Time on the water is the best teacher. Happy Thanksgiving.

Attitude goes a long ways in the game of fishing. Stay positive and open to change in the seasons.
