Smithville update vacation day#2

Water temp was 42. Another limit and 4 more whites. Blue and white wasn't so hot today so tried black and pink. Did ok but pink head and electric chicken was the ticket today.. still on some kind of wood, but started catching then around schools of shad.

Some old wise guy said don't leave fish to find fish, wait that was Beagleman that said that. I would take Beagleman's words and stay at Smithville if the bite is good,

in honor of the begal. Going to stay home till Friday. I can fish here every day and half the gas. Goinig to Stockton on Friday.

Holler when you head to Stockton I ain't been in a week would like to come up and visit, and Never leave fish to find fish, go find fish after your done having fun on the ones you know are there.

Went again this morning and couldn't find the 10" or bigger fish. Caught a lot and could have had a limit of 9.5" just don't like to clean the shorts. If the weather is cold on Black Friday I will be heading to Stockton.
