    Default SI Transducer mount

Having to mount the transom TD on the TM was a little bit of a concern for me. Didn't even get time to look for a factory option before the idea came to me. I always keep short pieces of aluminum around for things like this. It came from a piece of channel that I trimmed some off the sides so the TD didn't get below the skeg of the TM. Not too much so there was a little clearance for hardware. Not owning a milling machine I had to drill several holes and do some file work for the strap hole. This material was thick enough to drill and tap so the provision for the nuts was for nothing. The edges of the channel were softened but not rounded so it got a bit of purchase on the TM housing and holds real solid. Best part is; no money out of pocket. Thanks for looking, hope that it helps someone.

Nothing like a DIY project at zero $$, just some good times in the garage having fun. Nice work.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
