Sorry buddy, but we are flapping our arms to keep warm, and the wind from the flapping is hopefully blowing this stuff East.....West....South.....anywhere but here!!!

Doug, It is Ohio weather now in the deep south. I thought I left all that in Ohio ten years ago. I feel sorry for those who are homeless in Minnesota and Michigan because it is brutal and the front is heading East. I saw a crappie yesterday with his had, gloves and tail feathers on.:Rofl

Supposed to get some snow in the higher elevations on top of what they had already - the ski areas had some and then got the snow guns going. High of 43 today but they say the cold is headed this way.

Highs are around 25 for daytime highs and in the middle to low teens for overnight temps here. We are to be getting more snow on Saturday night. EB

Just saw some video on the news that they're having thundersnow in northeast Ohio. I'm at 23 and a windchill down to about 12. How long til March and the spawn?

Not sure what is going on with the weather, but any more talk about global warming is not going to reach my ears! Snow here 4 times last winter which never happens here and maybe one time every 10 to 20 years, but 4 in one year is way too much cold! Also what is with this freezing temps this early and this much! I am not happy with this at all!

Got a dusting last night but it's all melting now but the wind is keeping it cold, temp right now is 35

We've had plow trucks and salt trucks out here in west Michigan for three days straight now. my father in law went to deer camp in the UP, and they can't get to the cabin. Two and a half feet of snow on the road in, and that's just to get to the mile long driveway which is always in rough condition.

26 for a high today by me. Took the afternoon off, two weeks ago the plan was to go fishing one last time but it was too cold. Ended up taking care of some errnds instead. I think the fishing rods and tackle box are getting put away for the seson this weekend.

Supposedly, this "polar Vortex" thingy is drawing in the cold air from Canada. Setting up to a similar weather pattern to what we had last season! Brutal cold winter ahead for us northern folks I suspect. Went fishing on Friday (posted in Northeast Section) with water temps still in the mid 40's, along with the air temps. Last night we got a dusting of snow. Next 7 days....very cold with highs barely able to get out of the 30's. UGH!

Maybe it is time to put the boat away for the winter? :(

Pretty cold down here too! Might have to trade me crocs for socks and sneakers.

I'm with you Skip, this is way too early for this much cold. Maybe on the bright side it will also leave early instead of hanging around like it did last year.

They said on the news this week that were close to 20 degrees below normal right now in northern Illinois.

We got some snow last nite, not a lot but enough to stick. Gonna be a brutal winter again I think.

A look at the 20acres out back...
we got 6 more inches last night and this morning.

South Buffalo got 4' of snow last night,With more snow fall in the foot per hour rate expected today,Along with temps below normal again this year.If anyone should run into Al Gore tell them to swing by western NY so I can buy him a styrofoam cup of coffee and sit by my coal burning stove to discuss global warming.:dono

My kid had a snow day today. My wife had to drive my 4x4 Tahoe to work today, because the roads were so bad. All the schools in the area closed up shop. Churches are canceling activities for tonight already.

I think I'm gonna stowaway in Slabs trunk when he leaves for Florida.
